1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using any website or software service provided by ENGSTECH (engstech.com and its subdomains including hazop.engstech.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Services

ENGSTECH provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products for industrial and engineering applications, including but not limited to:

  • HAZOP.AI (hazop.engstech.com) - AI-powered HAZOP analysis software
  • Other software products hosted on subdomains of engstech.com

All services are delivered digitally via web browsers. No physical products are shipped.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

5. Subscription Plans & Pricing

Our services are offered under the following plans (prices in PKR):

  • Starter: Free - Limited features
  • Professional: PKR 5,000/month
  • Business: PKR 14,000/month
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing

Prices are subject to change with 30 days prior notice. All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).

6. Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed securely through PayFast, a licensed PSP regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan.
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance.
  • All payments are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
  • Failed payments may result in suspension of services.
  • You agree to PayFast's terms of service when making payments.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All software, designs, trademarks, and content on our platforms are owned by ENGSTECH.
  • Your data and content created using our software remain your property.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer our software.
  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for the duration of your subscription.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the service

9. Data Ownership & Privacy

Your data belongs to you. We process it solely to provide our services. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

10. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with prior notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

ENGSTECH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Our software provides AI-assisted suggestions for HAZOP studies; however, all safety decisions remain the responsibility of qualified engineers.

12. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription.
  • We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.
  • All provisions that should survive termination will survive (including limitations of liability, intellectual property).

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
